From a file to something you can hold
What to send, how quoting works, and what to expect on timing. No surprises: we would rather tell you the truth about a project up front than surprise you halfway through it.
Six steps, each one signed off
Send your file or concept
Use the contact form to send your 3D file, or describe the piece with reference images and finished dimensions. Tell us the size, material or color preferences, quantity, and any deadline.
We review it honestly
We check whether the file will actually print at your size: wall thicknesses, overhangs, segmentation needs, and whether it needs repair or rebuilding. If we are the wrong shop for it, we will say so.
You get a real quote
Quoted individually based on size, print time, number of sections, material, finish level, and timeline. Any modeling or repair work is scoped separately, so you always know what you are paying for.
Approval before anything prints
For sculptural and multi-part work you approve visuals first: exterior appearance, then segmentation. No expensive assumption travels further down the process than it should.
Production
We print across as many plates as the piece needs, on professional equipment, in the material the job calls for, from display PLA and PETG to outdoor-grade ASA and carbon-fiber composites.
Inspection and handoff
We inspect, remove supports, and hand over. Pickup in Louisville or shipping nationwide. For trade work, components drop straight into your finishing and installation workflow.
What to send us
The cleaner the file, the faster and cheaper your quote. But files that are not ready are a specialty of ours: dense meshes, overlapping shells, models that pass a topology check and still will not print.
- STL
- 3MF
- OBJ
- STEP
- High-res mesh exports
Send the highest-resolution export you have, at real-world scale if possible. If you are unsure, send what you have and we will tell you what it needs.
That can absolutely become a printed piece, the Warhill monument started as one concept image. Just know that modeling is its own design phase, scoped and quoted separately before any printing is priced. Turning a small image into a production-ready model is real engineering work, and we treat it that way.
Projects run in weeks, not days
Real projects move through modeling, approval, printing, and inspection. Simple single-piece prints can move quickly; sculptural, multi-part, and large-format work runs in weeks, and the 51-part monument package occupied two printers for over 260 modeled hours.
Tell us your deadline up front. We will tell you honestly whether it is achievable, and plan the queue so your date is real.
- Size / overall dimensions
- Print time & number of sections
- Material (display vs engineering-grade)
- Finish & prep level
- Modeling or file-repair work (scoped separately)
- Quantity & timeline
Straight answers, always: layer lines and seams are part of the process unless finishing is agreed. Parts ship unfinished unless we scope finishing. Material choice is not a guarantee of lifespan. And if we are the wrong shop for your job, we will tell you that too.
Send the file. Get a straight answer.
Upload your file or describe the piece, and we will come back with an honest read and a real quote.
