Cru Bear is a custom 3D printing studio based in Louisville, Kentucky. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, how it is used, and how you can ask us to change or remove it. We keep this deliberately short and plain.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. In practice that means:

• Your name, email address and phone number when you send a quote request through our contact form.
• Project details you include with a quote request, such as quantity, size, materials, colors, delivery preference and requested dates.
• Anything you write in the message field of our contact form.
• Any files you upload with an enquiry, including photographs, sketches, drawings and 3D model files.
• Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your general location, device type and the pages you visit.

Files and designs you send us

We treat customer files as confidential. Files you send are used to review, quote and produce your project, and are not shared with anyone outside that work. We do not sell, license, publish or reuse your designs, and we do not claim ownership of them.

If a project needs an outside specialist, for example a modeler, we will tell you before anything is shared.

How we use your information

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To carry out and deliver work you have approved.
• To keep a record of past projects so we can help with repeats and follow-ups.
• To improve the website using aggregate, non-identifying analytics.

We do not send marketing email to people who have simply enquired, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) and Ahrefs analytics to understand which pages people find useful, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our advertising works. These services use cookies and similar technology, and Meta may set or read a cookie in your browser and receive standard technical information such as your IP address when a page loads. We use the resulting reports in aggregate; we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through your Facebook ad preferences, and of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out.

Our quote form does not store your IP address with your submission.

Sharing with others

We share personal information only where it is genuinely necessary: with service providers who host this website or deliver goods, or where we are required to by law. That is the whole list.

How long we keep things

Enquiries and project records are kept for as long as they are useful for supporting the work, then removed. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@crubear.com and we will deal with it directly. There is no form and no ticket system.

Children

This website is intended for business and adult enquiries. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
